Carlisle Performance and Style 2014
Carlisle Performance and Style 2014 has come and gone but the memories will last a long time. As always the staff at Carlisle events did an amazing job keeping things organized in their 19th offering of the event. There was something for everyone including Low Car Limbo, Drifting, NICO Club Racing, a Burnout Contest and Beauty Competition going on at the same time as the show itself.
Friday night was the Cruise In and Low Car Limbo with a drifting exhibition by Los Goonies and Gentlemen Street Club topping off the night. The Low Car Limbo was a close call and came down to a pair of Miata’s.
Saturday’s at Carlisle are busy no matter what the event and Performance and Style is no exception. The day began with NICCOFEST open autocross and Driftsyvania open R/C drifting. Drive through show judging also takes place all day Saturday.
As with many past events at the Carlisle Fairgrounds there was a bit of rain throughout Saturday. That made for a perfect time to head to the various indoor displays behind the grandstands.
East Coast Bullies had a strong showing in Building Z.
Lowlapalooza had some amazing rides in Building T.
Building Y housed the amazing rides in the Timeless Motion Group Tour Display.
Eurovillion brought out some of the finest rides around (so long as they were European)
The amazing builds weren’t just found inside. There were thousands in attendance in the vast Carlisle show fields.
It wouldn’t be Carlisle Performance and Style without a Beauty Pageant. This year didn’t disappoint.
From blown tires to blown engines one of the big events at the main stage was the burnout competition. This year it was won by a pretty mean sounding and nice looking Chevy pickup.
Important information for 2015, Carlisle Performance and Style will not be in May. The date has been moved to July 17-19

From an early age my parents used to take me to car shows and a few automotive museums and that is where I got the car bug. Ever since then I have had mainly cars that were more go than show until 2008 when I bought my 2005 Silverado. I started showing the truck and soon after started taking pictures at the shows. In early 2012 I put a call out asking if any sites needed a photographer and here I am, A proud member of the Carshowz family.
