Fresh Meet, an event/meet for all car enthusiasts, no matter what make, model, year all are welcome. Past coverage shows a predominantly stanced / VIP crowd, but don’t let that throw you off, all are welcome. We are looking forward to attending the first Fresh Meet event in April.
Fresh Meet / Tuner-Evolution Spring Bash Show Review. Word by: Mike Mieczkowski, CarShowz.com
Although the weather started out a bit chilly and windy the weather was perfect for an early season event. It was bright and sunny with temps in the afternoon around the mid-60s. Getting into the event took some time but everyone knew it would be worth the wait. Cars were backed up as far as the eye could see and further on to Delaware Ave. Everyone in-line was patient and just enjoying the sites of all the other custom rides.
Admission to the Spring Bash was $10 per car and proceeds went to World Association of Natural Disaster Awareness and Assistance (WANDAA) for their Restore the Jersey Shore fund to assist those affected by Super Storm Sandy.
The Meet was separated into two sections: VIP and Vendors on one side and everyone else on the other. There was a huge showing of high-end customs in both sections. The VIP area had everything from Stance cars to exotics and everything in-between. The City of Philadelphia and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge provided amazing backdrops for everyone to enjoy. One highlight of the event was the Car Limbo where everyone that wanted to, had the chance to see whose car was the lowest.
There were many vendors present to keep everyone fed and hydrated. There was also many vendors available to purchase t-shits, stickers and detailing products. PASMag also had a booth offering subscriptions to the attendees. A big attraction was the RC Drift Car course. Everyone from the youngest to the oldest stopped for a bit to watch the action. For as large of a crowd that was in attendance the day appeared to be drama free and a very fun event. Already looking forward to the Summer Meet.
