August 10, 2013, CJ Pony Parts held their Annual Customer Appreciate Day (CAD) at their headquarters in Harrisburg, PA. A very well organized event, from parking attendants throughout the event as you pull-in and just the overall layout of the show flowed very well.
Lots of Mustangs were in attendance, I took over 500 photos, there were probably that many Mustangs throughout as Stangs pulled in and out of the event.
CJ Pony Parts gave demonstrations on how to switch out your brake / rotor set-up, as well as installing an intake system, along with explaining how to remove the sound tube that Ford has installed in the newer Mustangs, which is meant to give a cool sound of the engine in the cars cab (but people mostly delete because they don’t want noise in the cab). Tours were given throughout the show in and around their facilities, as well as displaying a few of the cars they were working on restoring. It was a nice in-depth look at the daily operations of CJ Pony Parts.
Lots of family friendly activities – Pony rides, miniature ponies, free food and drinks, face painting, balloon figures, and the list goes on. We enjoyed our time at the show and we look forward to attending next year!
