Detail Garage has opened their doors and have blessed us with an amazing Grand Opening pouring in thousands of customers from different states. Certainly online ecommerce is taking over, BUT many knock-offs and cheap products are found online in order to keep up with the competing web market. It is tough to find high-end products true to the brand and what makes this story even better is we (the community) are supporting a local business and a family!

Not all automotive enthusiasts have the opportunity to live their dream, to work on a car, truck or motorcycle on the daily, to work with automotive products every day and to help fellow enthusiasts. Jammie and his family have proven that to us; hard work, grind, perseverance and the list goes on to get to this point and actually call this creation theirs and to sit back with a smile on their face and enjoy the moment.

The Detail Garage Glen Burnie opened it’s door on June 23 at 9am, an hour before the grand opening the line wrapped around the parking lot, the parking lot was full and cars had to start to park across the street. Our local PD was nice enough to come by and help with the foot traffic and direct cars.

At 9am the doors opened and people started to file in. It did not take long for products to come flying off of the shelves and for Jammie and his team to start restocking the shelves. We hung out to about 1130ish and decide to head back later to allow for the lines to die down and to do some shopping of our own.

We decided to head back to the store around 1pm, the parking lot was still full, but there was not a line in the parking lot any longer. The family and I parked across the street and walked over, inside of the store was still mobbed with people, what an insane turnout for this grand opening. It was nice to see the interaction between the customers and staff and we even had a chance to check out a demo of some of the products.
