The Gumball 3000 X Piston Hill Climb – I have recently gone down the rabbit hole of watching YouTube videos; just stating the obvious, television is not what it used to be. With that being said, my attention span is limited. Most “YouTubers” are annoying, have annoying voices, antics and their videos are horrible. Yet, here I am, typing a blog style post, that is starting to become even more extinct as time moves on. However, as long as we continue to get the web traffic, I will continue to publish these articles and it’s quite the therapy for me!
Now that all of that is out of the way, let me get to the point. What led us to this article / post and most importantly what is Gumball 3000? While surfing YouTube, checking out the latest car trends, stupid cars and coffee crash videos, etc., I have subscribed to Daily Driven Exotics awhile back. The channel is entertaining, well-rounded, has a cool cast of characters and is constantly evolving. With 3.95M subs, they are doing something right! They have a good rotation of a fresh set of super and hyper-cars, new builds and they moved into the old Hoonigan headquarters building, which is a story in itself.
Watching the Daily Driven Exotics channel, they participate in some of the coolest rallies in the world. The Gumball 3000 Middle East tour was insane and that’s what drew me in to watching their channel even more. Visiting Dubai and checking out all of the exotic cars and trucks is definitely a bucket list item. As an automotive enthusiast, I was well aware of the Gumball 3000. However, the below video is what drew me into the DDE channel and also made me into a bigger fan of the Gumball tour as the tour includes a ton of awesome locations to visit with 5-star luxury treatment.
The logistics of shipping vehicles from the states, obtaining insurance, traveling across ~14 countries, all while maintaining your vehicle to be able to travel the distance and get to the finish line is definitely adventurous! Checkout out the DDE Middle East vid via YouTube, below.

Piston Distillery and Gumball 3000 have come together to bring you ‘The Warm Up’!
The event is taking place at Shelsley Walsh Hillclimb, the oldest continuously running motorsport venue in the world, on Saturday, 15th June.
The event is accessible to all. Visitors, special car owners, exhibitors, and sponsors. General entry gives you full access to chat with car owners, piston team, and the Gumball crew. You will have the opportunity to walk around and photograph the cars entered in the race up the hill, to enjoy the concours parking, and a selection of vendors.
