Barricade announces May 21st, 2022, as the date for its annual Barricade Go Topless Day. ® Now in its 15th year, the event brings Jeepers together to celebrate the time of year when they can remove their Jeep tops while also raising money to support their local charity. With donated funds reaching 163k+ in 2021, the challenge is on to make 2022 the biggest year to date.
Barricade Go Topless Day® grew from a small meetup of Jeepers at a local farm stand in 2008 to over 290 events and 20,000+ Jeeps worldwide. Activities range from picnics, trail runs, giveaways, convoys, trail clean-ups, parades, and other social events, all in the name of fun and giving back.
Barricade encourages each club holding a Go Topless Day® event to support a registered 501(c)(3) organization of their choice. To expand the impact of generous Jeepers across the nation, Barricade will donate $500 to any host that raises a minimum of $500 for their local charity.
In addition, Barricade is providing participants with resources which include a free Go Topless Day® host essentials kit, a host media kit, and access to discounted Go Topless Day® t-shirts which can then be resold to add to their fundraising efforts. Individual events will be promoted on XT’s website and social media to encourage maximum attendance.
2022’s Barricade Go Topless Day® is gearing up to be the best one yet. Attendees can spread the word and win prizes by displaying their branded event merch and swag on social media using the hashtag #JEEPGOTOPLESSDAY.
