New Jersey Motorsports Park is a road course located in Millville, Cumberland County, New Jersey. On Thursday September 3rd the Thunderbolt Track played host to SCCA Track Night in America. The event drew in participants from as far away as Maryland and Virginia with the majority of the racers coming from Pennsylvania and New Jersey. As with many Track Day/night events there were different classes for different skill levels. Novice drivers could take their time to get used to the track conditions and their cars. Intermediate drivers took to the track with some more power and ability and the the Advanced drivers took to the track with full on speed. Unfortunately there was a tangle between two S2000’s in Turn 1 just after a long straight away. Both drivers appeared to walk away unharmed but their cars did not fair as well.
