Lowrider Super Show 2024 hosted at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Saturday; October 5th did not disappoint. Mark Pantalone made the trip out to Vegas, to once again rub it in our “east coast faces” that the west coast knows how to throw-down when hosting events. The south hall of the Vegas Convention Center was stacked with custom lowriders from wall-to-wall. The amount of detail for these builds is truly next level. Attitude Check 19 kicked off in Woodford, VA on August 17 – 21. Attitude Check is a car, truck and bike show to benefit the local school system in Caroline County, VA. Last year, the show donated over 900 book bags filled with school supplies to Caroline County and over 900 to Spotsylvania school system. This year, the shows goal was to double previous years. The Philadelphia Modifiers Street Rod Club Annual Fall ATCO event was hosted on September 17th and you guessed it at Atco Dragway. Check out coverage from the Yesteryear Drags below. The 3rd Annual VW Nationals Mason Dixon 3 kicked off on August 5th, 2017. This year the event added the East Coast Pro Racing Association (ECPRA) to the drag racing sessions which means pro modified and pro stocks were running. The ASA heads up street cars was back and also bracket racing for VW and Audi powered vehicles of any speed. In addition stock or water cooled were also invited to run. 4th Annual Philadelphia Federal Credit Union Car Show presented by Gas Guzzlers Car Club was hosted on June 4, 2017 in Philadelphia, PA. Top 70 for trophies to include best stock, best modified and best of show. Entrance fee is $20 and partial proceeds benefit the Delaware Valley Veterans Homes. 50/50 raffles to include music, food, crafts and raffle baskets bringing together a family friendly event for all to enjoy! American Endurance Racing (AER) Series kicked off on May 19 – May 21 at the New Jersey Motorsports Park, The Premier Motorsports Entertainment Complex sitting on more than 500 acres in Millville, N.J. The 24 hours of LeMons Halloween Hooptiefest 2016 was held in Loudon, NH at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The weather started out with overcast skies and some rain but this didn’t stop participants from taking their unique rides to the track. On track you could find a wide variety of race prepped very cheap cars with drivers doing there best to compete in the changeable weather. Luckily there were no major on track incidents of note and everyone seemed to have a fun time. The event travels around the country from track to track and you never know what will show…
Misfits 4×4 Fall Down and Dirty Show was back at Bridgeport speedway for their 2016. The event was packed full of activities ranging from the show area to demolition derby and truck and their owners having fun in the mud in a section called the Play Area. Battle of The Clubs at Atco Dragway presented by Custom Toys Car Club and Mc Slick offered many fun activities including racing and a car show for those in attendance. Spectators were thrilled to see the wheels up racing action on the track and could check out the various custom cars on hand in the show in between races. The Catalina Wine Dragger was back for its 3rd year in Quakertown, PA. The Show, which continues to gain popularity, is hosted by Yup!!! Truck Club. This year the Show was held on Main St. at McCooles Pub and drew in many quality show vehicles.
